I can make a custom panel layout using any of the original panel shapes. Send me a sketch of what you want, or you can mark up a blank panel, or make a template out of poster board. Pricing would be for extra layup and shop time over price of standard blank panel. All custom panel are made from.040. thick 3003-H14 aluminum alloy. Some common custom panels would be the postwar J-3 panel with a 2 1/4" inch compass hole. Another would be a postwar J-3 panel with the outside instruments "spread out" for balance so a straight drive recording tachometer of 3 1/8" diameter can be used and the tach cable will clear the gas tank, along the left side.
